No Carve Pumpkin Decoration Ideas

Hey everyone. To those of you who have little ones or you just don’t want a really big mess to deal with (I completely understand by the way! Lol), have I got some good no carve pumpkin decoration ideas for you!

Besides just resorting to the old school “paint the pumpkins” idea I want to give you a few ideas that will trick out your pumpkins while keeping your little tikes safe from knives and other sharp carving tools.

Decorating your pumpkins instead of carving them is also a great idea if you want the pumpkins to last a little bit longer. Once you cut them the air can get to the inside and they start to rot, this way you get to keep your cool pumpkins longer. These methods are also good for the kids that don’t like to carve pumpkins, but do want to decorate them; not all kids like to get messy by carving pumpkins, but painting/decorating them is just as fun as carving them. It is also not as time consuming, or as hard, as carving a pumpkin is. Without further ado, here are some NO carve pumpkin decoration ideas.

If you want to do a carving pattern for the pumpkin, but don’t want to actually carve it, what you can do is get construction paper (with the color of your choice) and glue the cut outs to your pumpkin (this can also be done by gluing printer paper cut outs to the pumpkin and painting the cut out bits).

Here are some fun Halloween self-adhesive foam stickers that you can stick to pumpkins. There are several different looking faces, from the traditional black, rigid eyes and mouth to goofy looking faces. These are sure to make your kids giggle with glee.
