Roy Rogers – What’s for dinner? It’s that age-old question every busy mother hates to hear. Here’s the scenario: You’ve rolled out of bed early, it’s summer break and the kids had orthodontist appointments at 9 and then you had your own doctor’s appointment at 12. On the way home, you picked up friends for a scheduled play-date and after they left you hurried everyone out of the house to dance practice. Now’s it’s late and everyone’s hungry and they want to know what’s for dinner. Good question! Mom needs a break and she deserves a night off so she makes a right at the light instead of a left and everyone goes to… Roy Rogers! SCORE!
Cheers erupt from the backseat and mom gives a sigh of relief. Roy Rogers has been feeding hungry families since 1968 and their franchised chain of restaurants can be found all over the Mid-Atlantic region. The restaurants are clean and well-staffed and moms know that their families are getting good food for a fair price. Fried chicken, burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads and roast beef sandwiches are on the menu along with your choice of nine delicious sides. Have a soft drink or one of Roy Rogers thick milkshakes and don’t forget to top dinner off with dessert! Sundaes, ice cream cones, shortcake and brownies are just waiting to be gobbled up!
Roy Rogers also offers special programs to help you feed your family. Thursday nights are family nights, where kids enjoy a free kids meal with the purchase of an adult combo meal. Come every Thursday from 5 to 8 and mom and dad can buy their meals and the kids eat free! Roy Rogers has recently introduced their new phone app, as well. Eat more, get more! Is the slogan and that’s just what happens when you download the app. Here’s how it works: Download, sign in or create an account and then eat! That’s right! You earn points just for eating all that tasty friend chicken with creamy mac and cheese or a healthy side salad. When you have accumulated 100 points you receive a $10 reward! Wow! That’s a great deal! Share the new app with a friend and you get an additional 20 points!
Roy Rogers is an establishment that I trust when my family needs a meal and I just don’t have time to make it. Breakfast is served, as well as lunch and dinner and you can use your app and Roy Rogers specials like Family Night to keep the cost of the meal to a minimum and not have to sacrifice great taste and delicious treats for dollar menu meals. The next time you need to feed the family in a hurry, hurry right on over to Roy Rogers and enjoy a great meal any day of the week. Your family will say thank you!
A big thanks to Roy Rogers for hosting my daughter and I for dinner a few weeks back. The opinions and thoughts above are 100% mine.
