Some readers have questions about shopping with Rite Aid so I wanted to go over some of the awesome benefits. You can earn points every time you shop with Rite Aid with your Wellness Card. Upi can obtain a card completely FREE at Rite Aid from the cashier – its just their form of a loyalty card. When you use that card you will;
So once you get up to a higher level of discounts you’ll save even more money!. Click here for a direct link to read more about this program. If you forget your card they can pull it up by your phone number at the register when you check out. Now I’m sure you’ve read this in the past…. My husband is SURE that Rite Aid is by far the best of the 3 main drug stores (Walgreens, CVS & Rite Aid) because of the Single Check Rebate Program. You purchase qualifying products for rebates (see sale circular in store or on line for information on which items are available for Single Check Rebates each month) and you can file for your rebate simply by entering the information from your Rite Aid receipt on line and then boom – check in the mail right to your door! CVS and Walgreens both have a program where you get Extra Care Bucks or Register Rewards that MUST be spent in their store….. With the Single Check Rebate prorgam you’ll get your check in the mail (with little effort) and be able to spend that money anywhere!
Now Rite Aid also has a Wellness program with +Up Rewards and that program is incredibly similiar to the CVS Extra Care Bucks Program and the Walgreens Register Rewards program. +Up Rewards are granted to you by purchasing qualifying products (as noted in the sale circular) and the +Up Rewards show up at the bottom of your receipt (same as the CVS Extra Care Bucks) and you’ll tear them off of the bottom of your receipt when you redeem them. They are Rite Aid money and you can pay for your purchases with the +Up Rewards just as you would hand cash to the cashier at check out.
Rite Aid also offer Video Values – its a new way of marketing to consumers….. You watch a short video and then you’ll receive a coupon. You may stack coupons at Rite Aid. You can stack a Rite Aid Video Value coupon (remember you print them from your computer after you watch the short promotional video) with a manufacturer’s coupon. Now technically speaking the Video Value coupons are manufacturer’s coupons yes but this is where its a little tricky just for this one particular store. They are a “Rite Aid” only manufacturer’s coupon, meaning the bar code won’t scan at any other store. This is a situation where technically speaking you can use 2 manufacturer’s coupons on 1 item since 1 coupon is a Rite Aid Video Value’s manufacturer’s coupon. You cannot use a Video Value coupon and an in ad coupon together IF both start with a 49. Also – Your Video Value can carry over to the next month so be sure to watch the videos and use the coupon when you can stack the Rite Aid Video Value coupon with a sale and a manufacturer’s coupon.
Rite Aid also places coupons in their sale circular that you can use or stack each week. These are frequently Rite Aid manufacturer’s coupon but sometimes they are “store” coupons adn can usually be stacked.
Many readers are also getting surveys at the bottom of their receipt and when the go on line they get a coupon for $3.00 off of $15.00 so check your receipt! You simply enter the info on line here to get your coupon. The April Video Values has 4 different special bonus coupons for $2.00 off a purchase of $10.00 (or more) It is good on participating Clean Home zone, participating hair products, “Go Green” participating products, and special beauty bonus products. Don’t forget that you have to see ALL of the videos to get the coupon for $2.00 off $10.00 in that particular category.
I suggest to every reader that if you are planning to extreme coupon at your local Rite Aid, you will need to print off a copy of the Rite Aid coupon policy and keep it with you when you shop in case your savings are ever in question.
I know this was a really long post but I hope it was helpful to those of you that wish to extreme coupon at your local Rite Aid – its a great way to save big. If you’d like vidual – check out my Rite Aid video below.
