There will be 2 coupon inserts in this Sundays paper. 1 will be Red Plum and the other will be Smart Source. Please remember that some coupons are regional. When I make posts not everyone will have all of the coupons. So if I say “get X coupon from the 8/29 Red Plum” and you go to that insert and don’t have that particular coupon, don’t sweat it. There will be another deal the next week, and the next week, and the next week. The average family that follows my blog saves 50% off of their grocery bill. If you push all the deals you can save what we save each week – about 75% off of our regular grocery bill. In addition, you’ll develop a HUGE stock pile of food! Be sure to purchase a newpaper that subscribes to Red Plum and Smart Source as well as Proctor and Gamble insert, which come out once a month. In my local town there is the Star Democrat, Record Observer, and Bay times. These publications to not subscribe to all of these inserts and will not be good to purchase if you plan to start couponing and saving BIG. The Baltimore Sun and the Washington Post and the main paper in Philadelphia – I think it’s called the Philadelphia Inquirer all subscribe to all of the coupon inserts and are great papers to stock pile coupons. There are many other great papers but I just wanted to help readers understand Sunday papers and couponing. Remember most papers allow you to get a subscription to just the Sunday paper in case you don’t care to receive the entire week. Otherwise, you’ll have to head out to a store or paper box each Sunday. Some stores keep old Sunday papers and sell them half price by Tuesday. That is a great way to get coupon inserts very inexpensively!
