My sister Carol of KookyCarolsKitchenConcoctions is a “foodie” and she’s come up with another awesome Superbowl Sunday recipe for football! Well she knows I’m big on Superbowl foods this time of year but with the way these playoffs are going there are going to be quite a few playoff parties too! Can you believe those Ravens last night? WOW – what a last minute win huh? I couldn’t believe my eyes! REALLY!
These Sweet and tangy meatballs are the perfect! Who doesn’t love a meatball? This recipe is so simple even a beginner cook can impress their guests. They go so fast you might want to double the recipe! ☺
Sweet N Sour Meatballs Recipe Ingredients;
- 2 lbs. Meatballs (I use frozen)
- 1 14 oz. can of Cranberry Jelly (not chunky)
- 1 12 oz. bottle Heinz Chili Sauce
- 2 Tbsp Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
Instructions
- In your crock pot or on your stove top on medium heat, mix cranberry jelly, chili sauce, vinegar, and brown sugar.
- Once ingredients are combined thoroughly, add meatballs and stir, coating all meatballs.
- Reduce heat to medium low and let simmer about an hour to infuse flavors.
- If you are using a crock pot/slow cooker, put on high until meatballs are warmed through, then reduce heat to low and let them sit until you’re ready to serve.
- Serve with toothpicks so people can just pop them in their mouth.
