Family Fun for Everyone!
Here are the match ups for the Walgreens Weekly Ad – good the week starting July 24th. If you are new to shopping with Walgreens, check our Store Guide to Walgreens here. Always hand over the manufacturer’s coupons first when “stacking” coupons. After those are scanned, THEN hand over the Walgreens coupons (this will make it so their register doesn’t “beep”). Pick up the sale circular and June coupon book and take it around the store with you so you are sure to pick up the correct items in case the sale tag isn’t noted on the shelf. You may like to print out the Walgreens Coupon Acceptance policy from our Walgreens Store Guide. Keep it with you when you shop at Walgreens in case your savings are ever in question. Many cashiers are unaware of what to do when a coupon is valued higher than the price of an item so having the coupon acceptance policy handle may prove helpful. If you aren’t sure what some of the initials mean click to read Coupon Lingo.
Note: When you see “with in-ad coupon” you’ll need to cut it out or show it to your cashier depending on your stores policy. Don’t forget or you won’t get the savings. There are Walgreens coupons in the weekly sale circular and in the monthly Walgreens booklet. Both you should be able to find on a small rack at the store entrance (or ask an employee if you can’t find them)
Don’t forget you can click on the boxes to the left of each item to create your personal shopping list. You can add items to it before you print after you press”print”. Just another way we try and make your life a little easier! My favorite deals are in red!

I’ve been hearing rumors about changes at Walgreens coming toward the end of the summer. You’ll want to keep an eye out for clearance items at your local Walgreens if your store is one of the many to implement these changes. Walgreens is changing their pharmacy waiting area and making their store more accessible for consumers. Last night when I spoke with the manager she said their aisles will be lower so your eye can see further in the store instead of just the aisle where you are currently shopping. And… my favorite part – they are placing approximately 100 new items on clearance each week to make room for the new changes expected in August. That should mean big savings for YOU. There are stores all over the U.S. making there changes (but some stores that are newer already have the changes implemented). Ask your local Walgreens! Walk the aisles for clearance bargains and be sure to bring your coupons! I know the local Walgreens in Easton, MD is participating in the changes according to Maggie who spoke with that manager last night. So, keep your eyes peeled and be sure to post any bargains on the Family Frugal Fun Facebook wall or pop over an e-mail. Remember when we all work together we can all save more.
