I have some REALLY easy Valentine’s Day ideas for you this February 14th!
I’ve said long ago, 4 kids long ago that is, that I gave up the idea of a romantic Valentine’s Day. For years now we make it a small family party. We dance, we bake in our pajamas on Valentine’s morning (it’s sort of become a tradition) and we have so much fun. Well most people think of chocolate dipped fruit on Valentine’s Day so I wanna to show you the EASIEST way to make chocolate dipped fruit this year. Most people only ever think of “Magic Shell” as an ice cream topping but I use it all year ’round. It makes for the EASIEST chocolate dipped fruit that you could ever make. You just chill your fruit (or marshmallows) for a few minutes in your refrigerator or freezer then dip in your Magic Shell (softened in your microwave beforehand of course). Next, just place your dipped fruit on Reynolds Parchment paper and very quickly you’ll have your chocolate dipped fruit without every having to use a double broiler! Totally mess free! This is so easy, takes only minutes and is sooo much fun! The trick is just to make sure your fruit is chilled so your shell forms fast. My Dad came home with Magic Shell for our ice cream one night when I was a kid and I’ve been hooked ever since.
Have fun this Valentine’s Day! Check out my other video on dipped fruit with my kiddos! ☺
