We’ve been doing some fast and easy baking in our home and we came up with a simple recipe for one of my favorites – S’mores! Check out my Valentine’s S’mores! Don’t forget to start your Valentine’s Day Pinterest Board and be sure to “pin” this one! ☺
If you know me then you know that I have 3 addictions – Savings, Ice Cream and ….S’mores! Yum~! There is just something really fun about chocolate, graham cracker and marshmallow so I make all sorts of combinations combining those ingredients and here’s another fun recipe – Valentine’s Day S’mores! I also like to keep my kids in the kitchen with me so say hello my 3 year old! Oh and thanks Nesquick for strawberry milk! Its the perfect compliment to Valentine’s Day (and the perfect color too)!
Valentine’s Day S’mores Recipe Ingredients:
- Graham Crackers (like Nabisco)
- Hershey Chocolate chips OR Wilton chocolate candy melts
- Wilton Red candy melts
- Wilton white candy melts (with food dye)
- Kraft mini marshmallows
Make your graham cracker crust per the package of graham cracker crumbs but increase the butter by about 2.5 to 3 times. Line your pan with Reynold’s parchment paper then add your crust, push firmly down into pan and bake (see instructions on box) Remove from oven and allow to cool. Belt chocolate in double broiler or microwave (adding small amount of oil if needed to stir chocolate and get it smooth).
Pour on top of graham cracker crust. Allow to cool
Add Red or Pink Wilton Candy melt (you can use white and add food color too) Sprinkle top with marshmallows – Allow to cool, lift out from pan, cut and enjoy! Happy Valentine’s Day.
