Valentine’s Day: Walmart

So I’m wondering what you’re planning this Valentine’s Day? With 4 kids, getting a babysitter and heading out for a dinner on such a crazy busy night just isn’t an option so we’re opting for a home Valentine’s Day party with our family and Grandmom. I absolutely LOVE Edible Arrangements but this year we’ve decided to make our own. We’ll have a scrumptious dinner followed by a chocolate fondue fountain with fresh fruit and cookies to dip, along with home-made Valentine’s Day party decorations, followed by a small gift of love for each member of the family. Of course my husband will bring home flowers for me and my daughter.

This will be my 1st year with a chocolate fondue fountain but I’m hoping Valentine’s Day is a trial run for use with the chocolate fountain at my son’s graduation party in the spring. I was really amazed at how inexpensive they were! They run anywhere from $30.00 to about $100.00. Really not a bad price and its sure to be a hit after all….Who doesn’t like the sound of creamy melted chocolate with a display of fruit and cookies for dipping? YUM!! 😉

I also plan to bake with my daughter, she LOVES to help me in the kitchen and she is simply adorable in her little apron 🙂 You will want to try out the Wilton Heart Pops Kit, this is a cake or brownie tray. When the cakes are finished let the kids decorate from the chocolate fondue fountain :). The Mini Heat Baking Pan let’s everyone have their own personal heart cake. Or….You may be like Beth & get the Heart Bundt Cake Pan and make one large gorgeous cake for the entire family… YUMMY!
