Do you need to save on prescriptions? Well even if you think that you don’t its always best to plan for the unexpected…. ear infections with kids, sinus infection, pain medications etc etc etc…. Things come up and to work your frugal living plan you’ll need to save everywhere you can! So be prepared and learn how to save on prescriptions at Walgreens with this Walgreens prescription coupon!
This Sunday, in the July 22nd, 2012 Walgreens weekly sale circular, the Mid-Atlantic region received a Walgreens sale circular with a Walgreens pharmacy coupon inside. The coupon is for a FREE $25.00 Walgreens gift card with the transfer of a prescription. The coupon is valid through September 30th, 2012. So even if you don’t have a prescription to transfer at this time you should pick up this coupon (or 2 or 3) and keep them with your coupon stash in your purse or wallet. You never know when the unexpected will take place and its always better to be prepared.
Some ways that I have found to take advantage of prescription coupons for transfers: When a doctor goes to write a prescription for my kids… say for poison ivy for example – I’ll ask them to write it for a smaller amount with refills instead. Its great for me because then I just pay my co-pay (or have already met my deductible and pay nothing) and then snag a $25.00 gift card for refilling the prescription.
