Philly Fun Guide has something called Funsavers, you sign up and receive an email with 1/2 price ticket offers to Theatre, Dance, Museums & More… This is only available to subscribers so get over there and Sign Up already…You can find wonderful things to do through this sight and what’s happening all over in Philly.  Here is what I found fun and FREE:

President’s Day Celebration – On Feb. 19th & 20th @ 1 pm located at the Second Bank of United States in Philadelphia, PA

The Portrait Gallery in the Second Bank contains nearly 200 portraits, including those of six presidents. Some were former members of Congress; others served in the military and some were ambassadors to other nations. Each man who became president brought unique talents to the position. Join a Park ranger and find out more about them as we celebrate Presidents’ Day with a tour.

Try Hockey For FREE On Feb. 19th from 11am – 12:30pm @ Bucks County Ice Sports Center in Warminster, PA

Boys and girls, ages four to eight years old, are invited to a Try Hockey for Free clinic to experience ice hockey for the first time and learn the basics of the sport in a fun, safe environment, hosted by Bucks County Ice Sports Center and USA Hockey. The Try Hockey for Free clinic is part of USA Hockey’s Hockey Weekend Across America celebration, which runs nationwide February 18-20.

LakeShore Learning– On Saturday February 19th from 11-3 LakeShore will have their FREE craft clinic, this week the kids will be making A Presidential Briefcase. A flag shaped tote that’s perfect for every young future president and it’s Great for storing keepsakes, art projects & more.

Host Parties for FREE and get FREE goodies. Two of the next host parties are the AARP Celebrate Life @ 50 Party &  DiGiorno Pizza & Hoops House Party & a Make Up party! One Family Frugal Fun reader was selectd last week to host her first house party!  You could be next!!!! Go the the link to get more information but you have a party featuring the companies product. They send you all the food and supplies you will need to have the party – FREE. They will also send you goodies for being the host!! It sounds like a lot of fun.. FREE 

The Kennedy Center Go to The Kennedy Center link to see what FREE shows are being offered at The Millennium Stage starting at 6 pm each night!  The Kennedy Center is so beautiful inside!  You should expect to arrive 1 hour early to get in line in order to get seats for your family.  There is an adjoining parking garage but it is not free.

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. Maggie recently went there as shown in this post. If you go and look at this post from Maggie she will tell you how you can go and save money with a special code. Also Medieval Times offers a FREE ticket for the “Birthday boy or girl” so keep that in mind if you are thinking of celebrating soon. (must show proof of birth date)  This event is not free like most others listed, but it is greatly discounted.

The Blockbuster Kiosk is offering a FREE movie rental until . Use code MRC37H. This code is good till the end of February. It will make for a Great weekend at home night I haven’t tried this code myself yet so let me know.

Redbox Rentals. There are lots of codes for this one so go the the link and look at our prior post on these FREE codes and try your luck to see if they’ll work at your location.

Lego Stores. com
Visit your local LEGO Store on the first Tuesday of every month and you can learn how to build a cool mini model, and take it home – for FREE! Quantities are limited and offer is good while supplies last only. A new model will be available every month and will be specially themed to that month – ask a Store Associate for details! Models are not for sale and cannot be purchased. One free per child. Event is open to children ages 6 to 14 only. See store for more details. Arrive 1 hour to 1.5 hours early.
NOTE: Make sure you go online to find the nearest LEGO store near you and make sure they have mini model builds going on at that store!

The Pottery Barn
