The Lincoln Center for The Performing Arts. (New York City) Has Target FREE Nights. The next show is Wednesday April 20th @4pm @ The David Rubenstein Atrium. Nora Chipaumire will be performing. This is what The Lincoln Center says about Nora Chipaumire:
Dancer-choreographer Nora Chipaumire of Zimbabwe is a remarkable solo artist who investigates the collaborative process within cultural, political, economic, and technological identities of African contemporary life. Her work is transnational, unafraid, and eager to burn cultural, creative, and geographic boundaries while illuminating what it means to be Zimbabwean/woman/black /human in an increasingly borderless world. She views the theatrical stage as a “harrowing place of purging and paradoxically a place for reclaiming strength” (The Village Voice).

Earthfest: A Block Party Celebration of Earth Day on April 16th @10am-1pm at the Briar Bush Nature Center in Abington, PA. This event is FREE! This is what they say will be going on at this event:
Hosted by Kathy O’Connell from WXPN’s Kid’s Corner, Earthfest will feature: live animals, live music, guided nature walks, poetry readings, native plant exhibit unveiling, wildflower plantings and arts and crafts. There will be lots of community organizations and a special appearance by the incredible Trash Bag Monster!

The Kennedy Center Go to The Kennedy Center link to see what FREE shows are being offered at The Millennium Stage starting at 6 pm each night!  The Kennedy Center is so beautiful inside!  You should expect to arrive 1 hour early to get in line in order to get seats for your family.  There is an adjoining parking garage but it is not free. The new schedule is out for April and we’re really excited! There are several musical competitions with classical guitar (one of my favorites) and strings and orchestra events playing Beethoven!  Check it out and give your family a good cultural education!!!  The building is absolutely gorgeous!!!

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament.  If you go and look at this post from Maggie will tell you how you can go and save money with a special code. Also Medieval Times offers a FREE ticket for the “Birthday boy or girl” so keep that in mind if you are thinking of celebrating soon. (must show proof of birth date)  This event is not free like most others listed, but it is greatly discounted.

Visit your local LEGO Store on the first Tuesday of every month and you can learn how to build a cool mini model, like the one you see above – for FREE! Quantities are limited and offer is good while supplies last only. One free per child. Event is open to children ages 6 to 14 only. See store for more details. Arrive 1 hour to 1.5 hours early. 
NOTE: Make sure you go online to find the nearest LEGO store near you and make sure they have mini model builds going on at that store!

The Children’s Museum of Atlanta is having FREE Target Second Tuesday on May 10th. Admission is FREE for all visitors who come during these special hours. The FREE tickets will be available at the museum starting @ 1pm during each Target FREE Second Tuesday, and the museum will close at 7 pm. The FREE tickets are issued on a first come first served basis as museum capacity permits. Once the museum reaches capacity, tickets are only issued as capacity in the museum becomes available. Reservations are not accepted.

Can you tell I’m missing the warm weather and thinking ahead today????  Ok – this one is a must to put on your calendar NOW so you don’t miss it!  Pintail Point offers a Youth Day completely FREE to your entire family just once a year.  It starts at 10am and you definitely don’t want to arrive any later than 11am.  You’ll receive free lunch for your children (adults pack your own or bring $ to buy) and some freebies like a T Shirt or cooler or water bottle (its different each year) and the activities all day long are FREE! They can play mini golf, moon bounce, giant blow up slide, shooting range with clay plates to shoot, police dog demonstrations and tons of door prizes from start to finish!  This is such an awesome fun frugal and completely FREE day for your entire family that I suggest you calendar it NOW and don’t plan anything else during that time.  I promise you’ll have fun and you won’t regret it!  They even have a fishing pond with rods and free bait for the kiddies!  It’s so nice!  Everything takes place rain or shine and almost everything is outside.  Click here for more info.  For my frugal friends that live further away I’d say this event is worth driving 1 hr to 1 hr and 15 minutes to come see!  Its about 20 minutes past the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.

The Franklin Institute April 20th – Enjoy FREE admission and a FREE Imax movie in heart of beautiful Philadelphia!  This is an awesome science center!!!
