Exhibition – Opening Celebration: Elemental Matters on Feb. 4th 5 – 8 pm @ the Chemical Heritage Foundation in Philadelphia, PA. This exhibition is FREE. This is what it says about this exhibition:

The public is invited to join the Chemical Heritage Foundation for the opening celebration of Elemental Matters: Artists Imagine Chemistry and meet the artists whose works are featured in the exhibit. Elemental Matters features contemporary artists whose artwork uses the elements as symbol, material, or energy to transform ordinary associations about chemistry into something genuinely surprising and evocative. The artists will be on hand for the opening and available for informal conversations about their work.LakeShore Learning– On Saturday February 5th from 11-3 LakeShore will have their FREE craft clinic, this week the kids will be making Chinese New Year Drum..Let the kids ring in the Year of the Rabbit with a fun, rattling drum that kids will love to make and shake!!

Host Parties for FREE and get FREE goodies.Two of the next host parties are the Zatarains & Johnsonville Italian. Go the the link to get more information but you have a party featuring the companies product. They send you all the food and supplies you will need to have the party. They will also send you goodies for being the host!! It sounds like a lot of fun.. FREE

The Kennedy Center The Millennium Stage offers FREE shows starting at 6 pm

Friday February 4th – Concerts for Young People by Young People is showing The Manzari Brothers, Amy Bormet and The Ransom Notes
Saturday February 5th – American Idol finalist Scott MacIntyre will be performing.
Sunday February 6th – US Army band will be performing “Pering’s Own” Chamber Ensemble

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. Maggie recently went there as shown in this post. If you go and look at this post from Maggie she will tell you how you can go and save money with a special code. The Blockbuster Kiosk is offering a FREE movie rental until . Use code MRC37H.This code is good till the end of February. It will make for a Great weekend at home night I haven’t tried this code myself yet so let me know.

Visit your local LEGO Store on the first Tuesday of every month and you can learn how to build a cool mini model, and take it home – for FREE! Quantities are limited and offer is good while supplies last only. A new model will be available every month and will be specially themed to that month – ask a Store Associate for details! Models are not for sale and cannot be purchased. One free per child. Event is open to children ages 6 to 14 only. See store for more details. Arrive 1 hour to 1.5 hours early.
