The Winter’s Tale comes straight from the world famous Garrick Theatre in London! This play is starring Sir Kenneth Branagh and Dame Judi Dench and will be captured and broadcast here at the Rockville Center 13 for one night only and I am lucky enough to have 2 tickets to give away to some lucky couple that deserves a date!!! (Who doesn’t deserve a date right?).

Shakespeare’s timeless tragicomedy of obsession and redemption is reimagined in a new production co-directed by Rob Ashford and Kenneth Branagh, following their triumphant staging of Macbeth in Manchester and Manhattan. The Winter’s Tale will star a remarkable group of actors, featuring Judi Dench (Paulina), alongside Tom Bateman (Florizel), Jessie Buckley (Perdita), Hadley Fraser (Polixenes), Miranda Raison (Hermione) and Kenneth Branagh (Leontes).

My husband of 28 years is a wounded warrior and won’t go out in public for many things but he would definitely go to the theater to see this. He loves Shakespeare and the theater ………so this would be an amazing date night!
