I am lovin’ all of this fun holiday excitement all over the Mid-Atlantic region this year! There’s nothing like getting in the holiday spirit with some good old fashioned holiday fun! Well here’s another “don’t miss holiday fun day” with the Festival of Trees: Bringing the North Pole to Maryland and supporting the most awesome Kennedy Krieger Institute at the same time. Oh, and I have 4 tickets to give away to this awesome event – Many argue that this event is the biggest, best and most decorated event in the Mid-Atlantic region featuring great entertainment, ice sculptures, Santa and so much more!
Here’s the nitty gritty of the event;
BALTIMORE – Santa Claus is coming to town, and he’s kicking off the most wonderful time of the year – Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Festival of Trees! The East Coast’s largest holiday-themed festival will return to the Maryland State Fairgrounds from Friday, November 27 to Sunday, November 29, with decorated trees, a gingerbread town, shopping, endless holiday activities and non-stop entertainment for children of all ages!
The Festival of Trees’ winter wonderland will feature more than 700 trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses decorated by local designers, corporations and schools. While wandering through the holiday spectacular, festivalgoers will enjoy live hourly entertainment and a visit to SantaLand, Santa’s ultimate theme park complete with “reindeer” pony rides, carousel rides, carnival games, train rides, a remote control car racetrack and more! And, with more than 100 gift boutiques and a silent auction, Festival of Trees is a one-stop-shop to mark off everything on your holiday gift list.
Attendees and Institute supporters can also start their own online Happy Holidays FUNdraising page to raise money for Kennedy Krieger. For every $10 raised to support the children and families of the Institute, supporters will receive one free ticket to Festival of Trees.
The raffle at this year’s Festival of Trees features $2,500 in cash prizes. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $2 at the event or online at www.festivaloftrees.kennedykrieger.org.
Proceeds from Festival of Trees, presented by BB&T, directly benefit Kennedy Krieger, appropriately marking the beginning of the holiday season by giving the gift of hope to the thousands of children treated at the Institute each year.

Our family has been going to the festival of trees for years now. Our kids get so excited to see all of the different themed trees, ride the ponies, make a ton of crafts, listen to MILKSHAKE! And eat lots of yummy food from the vendors. We have bought some incredibly cool gifts from what we call Ma and Pa shops. This is such a special family tradition for us and I would love to win tickets to this years festival.

I would love to kick off the holiday season with my two sons and husband at the Festival of Trees! The trees, lights, and trains seem so magical! As an adult Christmas is so stressful and expensive, I would love to use this event as a catalyst to get into the true spirit of Christmas which is love! Sh
