Rice Krispy Bars S’mores Recipe

Well you know I’m working on a custom s’mores cookbook so I’m experimenting daily with s’more recipes and this one I just had to share! 😉 Pin it for fun food inspiration! (PINTEREST)

My latest creation is a new Rice Krispy S’mores bar! It is absolutely delicious and pretty easy to make too! Are you wondering why I’m working on a s’more cookbook? I’m a S’MORE ADDICT! 😉 I just love the combination of graham cracker, chocolate and marshmallow!

Rice Krispy Bars S’mores Recipe

Take a 9 X 13 Pan and make your Keebler graham cracker crumb crust and bake about 6 minutes
Make Rice Krispy treats and pour onto your graham cracker crumb crust pressing down firmly and evenly
melt nestle chocolate chips in a double broiler (1 bag 12-15 oz) and pour over your rice krispy’s

Cool in your refrigerator, slice into bars and serve (with milk?)

Recipe for Rice Krispies

3 tablespoons butter or margarine (if you want to use less butter you can substitute 1/2 the amount with coconut oil)
1 & 1/2 packages ( about 60) regular marshmallows
– OR –
6 cups miniature marshmallows
6 cups Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® cereal

Here was my crust recipe for a standard 9.5 X 13 size pan

2 Cups Graham cracker crumbs
5 tbsp sugar (I prefer powdered sugar for this)
slighly over 1/4 cup Coconut oil (you can also use butter)

Mix and press into your pie shell or pan

Do you prefer more traditional s’more over a campfire! Well I have just the thin you need! Its a must for perfect s’mores!
