I’ll be Key Note speaker for the 2nd year in a row at the Mason-Dixon Outdoor Writers Conference on March 11th. This is an amazing group of authors, newspaper columnists, bloggers, and outdoor tv personalities. I’m so honored to support all things outdoor. Did you know that someone once took a scientific survey of adults asking them to recall their most fond memories of childhood and 85% of those adults recalled a memory that took place outside. There’s something out nature that sticks with us and stands the test of time. The smell, the sights, the feel of sitting on a large granite rock overlooking a valley is something that captivates the human spirit, centers it, and returns it back to Mother Earth!
Have you heard the news? Competitive Edge of Woodbridge Virginia is having a free fun day tomorrow to celebrate their 1 year birthday and all are invited! I’ll be there tomorrow at 1pm to say helloooo – Come on out and enjoy all that this amazing indoor sports complex has to offer!
Finding yourself stuck in a lunch rut? I have a fabulous video to show you how to make 4 different meals, for even the pickiest of eaters, in about 5 minutes!

It’s no secret, people want to work for and do business with organizations that stand for something, that contribute to society in a meaningful way and help others.
A “purpose-driven” company that recently got my attention is SunTrust Bank and its onUp Movement. They focus on helping Americans just like you and I move past financial stress to gain financial confidence – one step at a time. [Read more…]
