Well if you’re been following my blog you know that I just LOVE s’mores. Well I’ve come up with some Halloween s’mores. They are white chocolate ghost s’mores and they’re super kid friendly and I made them with my 3 year old. She’s always in the kitchen with me!
I really like to keep kids in the kitchen. Of course if I hadn’t have done these Halloween s’mores with my 3 year old they probably would have come out a little prettier but I prefer the children’s touch! Don’t you? Ok – well here’s what we did;
needed:
- Graham crackers
- White chocolate (like Tollhouse morsels)
- small amount of oil (like coconut or vegetable)
- candy stick or popsicle sticks (flat stick is better)
- Marshmallow fluff
Melt your white chocolate in a double broiler or microwave. Add a small amount of oil if your coconut isn’t quite smooth enough when it melts (no lumps). While you’re slowly melting your chocolate crack your graham crackers and spread marshmallow fluff, add candy stick, then place a top graham cracker on and pop in the freezer while your getting your white chocolate ready (you don’t want them getting too warm and the marshmallow melting out before they are dipped in the white chocolate).
Now, once your chocolate is ready, then dip your square about 3/4th the way into the smooth and creamy white chocolate (don’t use too much oil to smooth it out – just a bit) then place on parchment paper and back in refrigerator or freezer to quickly set.
Once the chocolate has set add 2 black dots for eyes and a circle for mouth. Allow to set and dry. Enjoy! If you’d like coupons to purchase any of the supplies at the store be sure to check my coupon database. Just type in the word “icing”, or “chocolate” or “parchment paper” adn all of the coupons available will come up.
