I think my best recipe for leftover turkey is turn into fajitas !! onions, peppers, tomatoes, taco seasoning ….can’t forget the corn tortillas !!! sometimes kids do not like the chunks of vegetables so you put the onions the peppers and tomatoes oh can’t for get the garlic put it in a blender and blended it up well . now you have all the delicious flavors without the chunks…..sauteed in the sauce !!!
what Disney on Ice with mean to me and my family ?
for 1 I have never been myself to Disney so I would love and enjoy to see it !!! I can see my girls would light up with excitement joy!! I have 4 little princesses …..in other words this would be such a blessing because it would be fairytale come true for them (and the little girl in me…lol) we have an Ariel lover ,a Tangled lover and Cinderella!!! The 18mo. Old loves them all. she actually enjoys watching Tinkerbell !!

If we have left over pork or chicken we make stir fry. I usually have frozen veggies. I put oil in a pan. Add the frozen veggies, meat, and soy sauce to taste. I like to serve it over rice. Also, a good way to use left over rice. We are big fans of Tinker Bell. This would be a great family outing, and an exciting way to spend time together.

My favorite leftover recipe is Turkey sandwiches made on garlic toast with a chipolte sauce and bacon. And of course cranberry sauce on the side.
My kids would love to go to Disney on Ice again. I do not know how many times they have asked to go again. We have been once and they were amazed. My husband said that we would have to pass on going this year just due to the cost and other things going on right now. My kids would be so surprise if we could go.
They both love the Tangled characters right now. They do many re-enactments with my frying pans! I love to watch them!

My favorite left over recipe is left over ham. I cut it into cubes and mx into a box of Julenne potatoes. It’s a quick and easy one dish meal.
Disney on Ice is something at I have dreamt about taking my daughter to. We talk all of the time about how much we want to visit Disney Word and she just loves all of the characters. We plan to visit Disney in 2015, but in the mean time gong to this show would mean the world to my 5 yr old.

After a holiday meal I tend to make either Turkey soup or ham and bean soup, however a nice frugal recipe is Turkey Pot Pie, just use a cup or two of leftover cut up turkey a couple cans of cream of chicken throw in some veggies, even better if they were left over too. Season with some herbs and top with with a Bisquick (recipe on box). Quick easy and Frugal.
Now the last time I went to Disney on Ice was 18 years ago when my daughter was about 3-4 years old, I have 3 children now that have never been the youngest is 3 1/2, I just know they will enjoy it just like their sister did when she was young. Now I had plans to go get me some of those dollar tickets and I wouldn’t even have entered but it’s not going to happen, I am sitting up with a very sick 3 year old (stomach bug). Funny story we were about to get on a plane and take a Disney family trip when the day before my OB said get to the hospital now I had severe pr-eclamsia. Our little Ben was born at only 28 weeks weighing 2 lbs. the day we were to go. Needless to say we still have never been able to take that trip. Hopefully following some of your Frugal advice we will some day.

My family’s favorite leftover is Turkey Gravy over waffles. We only have it once a year, after Thanksgiving, because that’s when we have a huge turkey. As a matter of fact I buy a very large turkey so that I can make sure I have enough left over for the next day. It’s even gotten to the point where I don’t worry about if all my family can’t make it to Thanksgiving dinner because I know we’ll all be together on Black Friday for Waffles with Turkey Gravy (we also re-heat any other leftovers from the day before to go with it)
As for what winning these tickets would mean to me: I would love to win them so that I could take my 3 young cousins that are foster children in my home to see this. I don’t know that they’ve ever been to anything like this, and I just think they would be so excited to see the Disney characters skating.
Thank you, and good luck everyone!

With a family of 5 we typically don’t see many leftovers, and we usually spend holidays at my parents house so my father is in charge of turkey soup from the left overs. 🙂 But when we have chicken left overs I usually use it for chicken ceaser salad the following day for lunch/dinner. Easy meal for the next day!
We are a huge Disney family! Love it all! My twin girls who are 2 love Minnie and Mickey Mouse and scream whenever they see either of them. Since my husbands job has just pushed everyone to part-time at their company it won’t be in the budget to do something like this for awhile. My kids would be so excited!
My girls love Minnie and Mickey, I love Mickey and Winnie the Pooh!!!

I boil down the turkey carcass at Thanksgiving into soup stock. I then add celery, potatoes, carrots, chicken stock, and left over turkey and let simmer for a 1/2 hour. I then freeze and eat later. My family loves the Disney on Ice show and always have a great time. It is great wholesome entertainment and it also something an adult can enjoy as well. I love 1st Mariner since it is less than a 1/2 hour away. My favorite Disney character is Goofy.

After thanksgiving I love to make a sandwich with a left over dinner roll, with mayo, cranberry, turkey, and stuffing. Yum! I would love to take my kids to Disney on ice, I know they would love it and would be great to do something as a family.

My leftover recipe would have to be a turkey wreath I learned a few years ago.. Basically, you just take the leftover turkey, stuffing, a little mashed potato, cranberry, salt & pepper, mustard. Then, lay out crescent rolls in a circle, overlapping the triangles. Put the turkey mixture in the middle of the rolls & bake. Pretty and yummy! 🙂 I would love to take my boys to see Disney on Ice! I’ve been a few times (before kids), and the boys love a lot of Disney characters so I’m sure they’d enjoy the show! My favorite Disney character has always been Tigger. My oldest son loves Pooh Bear and my 2nd son loves the Cars characters. Thank you for the chance to win tickets!

My fave leftover recipe is with ham. I take the leftovers and chop then in cubes, throw them in a pan and fry them up with a little smoke flavoring. Then I add my fave BBQ sauce…I like it saucy so I add a lot. Heat till warm. Eat it in a roll with butter and sometimes southern style with coleslaw on top! Mmmmmm!
My kids would LOVE the show!!! They see the commercial and beg to go! I think this is a great show for a boy AND girl (my kids) which can be hard to find. If I won, I wouldn’t tell them. I would tell them we have some boring errand down the city and just show up!! That would be an AWESOME surprise!!
Shannon says
Sorry forget to list my fave character…my daughter’s would be Rapunzel and my son’s would be Jake (never land pirates). I’d have to say mine is the new character Doc Mcstuffins.
