Are you thinking about making some cute and creative eggs this Easter with your kids? Well I have some simple DIY instructions on how to make a striped dyed Easter Eggs. Its really EASY and fun and kids love it! Please repin this (direct link) I’m trying to get this to go viral on Pinterest~!
1) Boil your eggs for 12 minutes until you have a hard boiled egg. Cool
2) Take a coffee cup or bowl and add food coloring and vinegar to a cup of water (20% vinegar, 80% water, 3 to 5 drops of food coloring)
3) Take a wide rubber band and wrap it around your egg crossing over only one time in the back. Add as many rubber bands as you want in any direction to make neat designs.
4) Drop egg into the dye. Allow to sit in the dye for as long as you like (longer makes a deeper color generally speaking).
5) Remove egg and allow for the egg to completely DRY. Remove rubber bands and you’ll have a striped egg. Its fun!
