Everyone loves a chewy and delicious plate of brownies, right? Well the really good brownies tend to be pretty expensive so I have a recipe for you to make any box brownie mix taste homemade.
I buy the cheapest brownie mix I can find, like the one pictured above or the Pillsbury cheap box brand and I when I’m done – they taste homemade and I get TONS of compliments on them! You have to try this recipe
Box Brownie Mix Recipe Ingredients:
Follow the directions on the box mix adding however many eggs the box calls for. Then, instead of water or milk omit 75% of what the recipe calls for and only add 25% of the water or milk the recipe calls for. Add melted coconut oil for the 75% called for in the liquid mixture. Be sure that your eggs sit out for just a little bit to get toward room temperature and that your milk or water is lukewarm and not cold (otherwise your liquid coconut oil will harden). This will make the BEST chewy delicious, homemade tasting brownies – I PROMISE! Check out my flower brownies too!
