I have the best and EASIEST Halloween punch recipe along with a festive glowing pumpkin bowl too! I made this recipe this weekend along with a pumpkin punch bowl and it was so perfect and festive. This is a grape sparkling punch recipe with the perfect amount of spices to be delicious. Plus with the punch bowl, with a little dry ice and a glow stick I easily turned it into a “witches brew” just for fun. You have to try it! Full easy to follow directions!
Ingredients you’ll need for Welch’s Witch Brew:
- 1 Gallon Welch’s 100% Grape Juice
- 4 Cinnamon Sticks
- 1 Tsp Ground Nutmeg
- 1/4 Liter of Ginger Ale
In a medium pot combine Welch’s grape juice, Ginger Ale, Cinnamon sticks and nutmeg. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat. Simmer the mixture until the juice becomes infused with the spices for about 20 minutes. Serve immediately.
Ingredients you’ll need for Spooky Punch:
- 2 bottles of Welch’s sparkling Juice cocktail
- 1 Bottle Welch’s 100% Grape Juice
- 1 Rubber Glove
Start with making your ice hand. Rinse our your rubber glove out then fill up with water, tie off then pop in your freezer. Mix your ingredients together then add the ice hand to keep it chilled.
You can add grapes or gummy worms to the glove when you freeze it to make your spooky punch extra scary. Have fun! ☺
Directions to make a pumpkin punch bowl:
There are a few different things you can do with the punch bowl. If you wanna keep it easy and simple just cut the pumpkin about in half and slip in your bowl. Be sure to use a bowl like you see below with a lip or it may fall into your pumpkin and not sit properly.
Variations to make your punch bowl glow and be spooky:
I used cookie cutters on the pumpkin (see my post about using cookie cutters on pumpkins here) at about 5 inches all the way around the pumpkin. That way you can add dry ice underneath of the punch bowl and add glow stick (see military grade glow sticks here) and you’ll pumpkin punch bowl with have the spooky witches brew effect. It’s really fun and the Welch’s recipe is delicious!!!
