Planning A Walt Disney World Vacation In 2016 Hello again, 2016 is coming quick and now is the time to plan your vacations for next year. This post is about planning a Walt Disney Vacation in 2016 on a budget. Disney, like any other amusement park, has on and off “seasons” and on those off seasons they will offer discounts and special offers to get people to come to the park. This helps it keep the business going and it also helps frugal families have a great family vacation without having to give up your arm and leg to get it. Here is a list of timelines when the park is having its discounts. The Adventure Season is when it’s cheaper to travel. Its best to plan for these things ahead of time. Be sure to sign up here with Disney so you can receive special discount rates via email (discount codes for Adventure season etc – sign up is FREE but you need to check the box at the bottom so you can receive email specials)
2016 Dates (goes from most expensive and busy at number 1 in the parks to least expensive and least busy at number 5 from top to bottom)
- Premier Season (most Expensive and most crowded at Walt Disney World) March 20th to April 2nd, Dec 24th-31st (lines will be long, you likely won’t find room discounts or free dining plan offers)
- Magic Season – Feb 16th-March 19th, April 3rd – 30th, June 11th to August 15th, November 23th-25th
- Dream Season – Feb 1st-15th, May 1st to June 10th, August 16th-31st
- Choice Season – October 1st-November 22nd, November 26th-30th, December 15th-23rd
- Adventure Season (absolute BEST chance of finding a deal if you travel during any of these dates, lines won’t be long and you can likely find a room discount code and maybe even get a free dining plan thrown in) Jan 1st-31st, September 1st-30th, December 1st-14th (likely no lines at all on most rides ☺)

Ohh great info! I am in the research phase now for next year. And I’m getting a headache looking at it all ha ha
I have a feeling we are going to stay at one of the resort properties so need to plan around that. I have a Trello board set up to plan this vacation so I have added your link there. Thanks!
