Halloween Dessert Recipes – Mummy Pie

I was thinking about fun Halloween Recipes today and came up with this “Halloween Mummy Pie.”  My inspiration was a mummy cookie that I saw on Pinterest and I thought “Wouldn’t this make a cute pie?” It was REALLY fast and EASY to make (2 things that are important when I decide to make something). Check out my recipe;

Here’s what you’ll need for this Halloween Mummy Pie

• 2 packages pie crust (you can use box type or refrigerator type
• Wilton eyes
• Can of Pie Filling

Start your pie just like you normally would – pie shell in glass pie dish then fill with pie filling.

Now comes the fun part where you want to separate (cut) your mummy strips of cloth in the pie crust.

Then start placing your strips on the pie.

When you get to the “eyes” part just use a round small glass or a muffin cuter.

After you’re finished the top just bake according to normal pie directions. (Oh and I trimmed the sides of the extra dough)
