Ok so your planning some sort of fun and festive Halloween get together and you want to offer something fun and festive to drink other than booze, right? I have the perfect ideas and some great Halloween drink recipes for you! Plus, you’ll drink it out of a glowing Halloween pumpkin bowl. What could be more fun? This is also really easy to do and was fast – maybe 10 to 12 minutes total to cut the pumpkin like this and then scrape and prepare it for the Halloween drinks.
Directions for a Halloween pumpkin drink bowl:
Rinse the outside of your pumpkin and cut in half. Clean out seeds and guts. Using a spoon to scrape more away from the pumpkin’s inside if necessary to make sure your bowl will fit snug inside your pumpkin.
Add 2 cracked glow sticks to the bottom of your pumpkin to make your witches brew glow.
Now place your bowl on top of the glow sticks inside of your pumpkin. Add punch. Enjoy! (Note: I suggest you use a bowl with a lip like the one above. I have some Pyrex bowls below with a lip that work well) Be sure to add a glow sticks and use a glass bowl for the glowing Halloween drink effect. Use 3-5 glow sticks for a really neat glowing effect. Kids love this!
I use Bigelow Tea and they have the MOST delicious half and half tea! It tastes like a gourmet iced tea and everyone in my house just loves it.
Here is another suggestion: Use the cute Halloween molds below and fill them with tea and freeze them to keep your Halloween tea cold. This way it won’t get watered down with regular ice cubes.
