Football Brownies Recipe
I just used a box mix for my brownies – Pillsbury. To make the brownies more chewy I used more oil (like coconut or vegetable) and no water to give them a better consistency. Coconut oil is my favorite for brownies. It is healthier AND it gives them a great flavor. You can’t taste the coconut (just in case you’re wondering) but it does make them a bit sweeter.
I lined my pan with parchment paper.
Added my brownie box mix and baked according to the instructions on the box.
Allow them to cool completely then just pull out the brownies and use your footbll brownie shaped cookie cutters.
Now for your icing. I just mix a small amount of milk (start with a teaspoon), 1 tblsp of butter, 1/4 tsp vanilla, and powdered sugar (about 2 cups) in a mixing bowl. Stir until you have a very thick consistency that is hard to stir. When you get that consistency place in your microwave for about 8 to 12 seconds to soften. Remove and place in a plastic baggie.
Clip a small end off and use the end tip as your icing bag to make the marks and lace on the football brownies. Enjoy!
