Oh…. this place is so much fun for families and really inexpensive too! It’s a great field trip for Homeschoolers.
Killens Pond is a State Park in the Mid-Atlantic State of Delaware. It’s just a short drive to the beach (see my trip camping at Cape Henlpen Delaware) and Killens Ponds is a beautiful place to spend a day outside at the park, go camping or head to the water park (like we did).
They have 2 separate areas – one for bigger kids (like me and my teens) and one for little ones like my 4 year old daughter.
The entire place is completely interactive and fun! The entrance fee is only $5 and you just can’t beat that price for a day at a clean, well managed water park.
This place is great for families because they don’t allow cursing and boom boxes playing loud vulgar music that you might not want your 4 year old to ask about. Its wholesome and great. I love that big kids and little ones and everyone in between have something fun to do! Check out my son on the moving Lilly pads! They have a nice snack area where you can buy food or you can pack a cooler and eat at the picnic tables adjacent to the water park to save a buck.
(thanks to my friend Stacey at Love N Notes for sharing some of her pictures)

Love it but Killens gets full to capacity so you have to go early so you aren’t turned away

I have heard of that and someone just mentioned that on Facebook too. Thanks for noting that! ☺
