One of the hottest classic family musicals of all times is coming to the National Theatre in Washington D.C. – Annie! And, I will be blessing a lucky family with 2 tickets!
The National Theater will host Annie from MARCH 15 – MARCH 20, 2016 for 8 shows as the world’s most-loved musical returns in time-honored form. Directed by original lyricist and director Martin Charnin and choreographed by Liza Gennaro, this production of ANNIE will be a brand new incarnation of the iconic original and I am THRILLED to be able to give away 2 tickets!
Featuring book and score by Tony Award-winners Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, ANNIE includes such unforgettable songs as “It’s a Hard Knock Life,” (my personal favorite because it was performed last year in my daughter’s dance recital) and “Easy Street,” and “I Don’t Need Anything But You,” plus the eternal anthem of optimism, “Tomorrow.”

Annie was my all time favorite as a child! My grandmother took me to see it live, I watched the movie on a loop and was hardly ever seen wearing anything but her iconic red dress!

A perfect birthday surprise for my daughter that is turning 6 in two weeks! She was brought up knowing the new Annie and it would be awesome to show her a live version of the Annie I grew up knowing.

I would love To go see this with my daughter for 2 reasons. 1, I was an orphan in A local production of Annie when I was younger. 2. My husband is deployed and I have 4 kiddos and don’t get a lot of one on one time with each of them this would be great mommy and daughter date night!

My mom and I have a “date” annually where she takes me to a dinner and a movie. I would really love to spend it watching my first real play/musical in our nation’s capital with her. She is really busy working this time of year and we don’t get to see each other very much, so I think this would be good for us. Besides, I would get to see a really cool play.

I would love to take me daughter Emily to see Annie! She saw it once at Toby’s dinner theatre when she was 5 and has loved it since. We have 2 copies of the movie because she used to watch it at home and in the car everyday! And this show is just in time for her 8th bday present on 3/24.

Annie was my first and favorite musical. I would love to take my daughter, who also has fell in love with Annie, the songs, the dance, and especially our favorite character, Ms. Hanigan. We are frequent patrons of local school shows, but i know she would be thrilled to see a show like this.
